elaboro LiSi LOW FUSE is a low-melting (800°C) lithium silicate thin-film refinement for glass ceramics, LiSi2-monoliths, pressed ceramics or already glazed feldspar ceramics with a suboptimal surface.
For high-quality zirconium oxide restorations, an elaboro LiSi PURE base layer should be fired in the first step, then individualized with color and effect liquids before a fine top layer of LiSi LOW FUSE is finally applied. Since the layer is very thin and the glass ceramic particles are distributed very evenly during the spraying process, there are no dimensional changes. The surface is sealed and smoothed, polishing is no longer necessary, after firing, the surface is mirror-smooth.

The application
elaboro LiSi LOW FUSE is used to finalize surfaces on dental ceramic restorations.
The surface to be coated should be dust-free and dry. Please do not blast it or roughen it in any other way. The final cleaning is carried out with hot steam and/or isopropanol.
The veneer surface can be customized as desired.
Finally, the product is applied very thinly with a few short sprays (just enough to turn the surface whitish). After firing at 790-800°C, the surface is microfinely vitrified with lithium silicate without any visible material transition.
The coating, which is only around 10 µm thick, guarantees that all adjusted fits are maintained. The surface is perfectly smooth, polishing is not necessary.

LiSi PURE should be used for this. In rare cases, the LOW FUSE bursts away from the zircon after a short time as the low-melting glass anchors itself deeply into the mosaic of the zircon surface.
We therefore recommend the following procedure:
1- Base layer with LiSi PURE
2-application of Dye & effect liquids
3-Final sealing of the colors with LiSi LOW FUSE
